many questions for some…..and for few, they don’t even realize the importance
of being safe online. To throw some lights on this topic, the students of grade
6 did a small presentation during their assembly,“ICT Assembly”. Yes, as we
follow certain etiquettes at home, school, in public places, in the same way,
we need to follow it even while using internet, it is called “Netiquette” i.e.
internet netiquettes.
- Spell Check - Spell check the information, as errors diminish the credibility of the message.
- No All Caps - Typing in all capitals indicates you are SHOUTING to your audience and it is not polite.
- Responsibility - Never share your personal information and password over internet with anyone, it can bring in trouble.
- Online Image - Maintaining your online image is important. Don't ruin it by being someone you're not.
- Respect – Use proper language and show respect to the other person while online.
- Security - Do not be-friend a stranger.
- Credits - Give Credit Where Credit Is Due…Cite Your Sources!
