It was a rare privilege for Grade 6E students to conduct the morning assembly on June 19, being the “world happy day”.
The assembly started with a prayer requesting the almighty to shower happiness all around and bestow peace in this world. This was followed by a thought, which made the students put on their thinking caps and ponder on an important message.
The children presented a wonderful song to which the entire assembly joined the chorus. Thereafter, few children from the class shared their experiences, elucidated the rationale and the need to smile, which has become a rare phenomenon these days.
The assembly fostered students an opportunity to open up and share their thoughts with their peers. Further, it instilled in them a sense of pride and confidence to be able to speak in front of a large gathering.
All in all, it was a well conducted assembly.
