Guest Lecture for Grade V

IB promotes mother tongue (Standard A.7b) and we, at Oakridge, support the same. Grade V students attended a guest lecture by Honorable Minister for Textiles, Shri Prasad Kumar Gaddam. The guest lecture was in Telugu, our local regional language. The learners inquired about government and its systems in Telugu and the answer was given in the same language. It was well translated by our dear Bursar sir in English for the non-Telugu speaking children. The session was quiet interactive as the learners loved to learn in their mother tongue.
