In connection with the ongoing unit of inquiry “Living
things” students of PP1 set out for a field trip to the Nehru Zoological Park on 6th March
2013.
Children were enthralled to see Peacock, Tiny Monkey, Leopard,
Elephant, Tortoise, Crocodile, Sambar Deer, White Tiger, Stag, Giraffe,Yak,
Snakes etc. 
They were curious to watch how the
animals behave, move and make sounds to
communicate among their own species and people as well and inquired about the food
given to Animals and Birds.The various animals, birds and living creatures went wheeling back
on the track on a train ride which entertained the children with lots of fun
and laughter.
