Contract Activity – Robin Hood

In ‘contract activity’ you showcase your understanding of a novel. The students of VB, engaged in a contract activity where we showcased our understanding of the novel – Robin Hood. We chose a part of a chapter and related it to another novel. For the other novel, I selected ‘The Odyssey’ as in both novels an archery contest is organized.
For the second segment of the activity, we had to relate a part of a chapter to our experience. For the third segment, we had to relate a part of a chapter to world news. I connected the chapter related to the beheading of the three sons of an old woman to that of the British aid worker by ISIS.
The activity kept my brain brimming with ideas. It is a very novel way to display your understanding of a novel. - Ratnam VB
