2 students underwent a health check-up at school last week. The kids were very
inquisitive to know what it could be all about. When they heard the word
check-up there were two I’s which came up in their mind Infirmary and
Injection. But the school doctor brought a smile on their faces but easing
their minds by telling them it’s just a regular check-up.
The check-up began by an eye test followed rate of heart beat and then by checking their weight and height where the students integrated with the math concept measurements. The school doctor gave each child some feedback and the students posed some questions to her. As usual the kids started comparing their height and weight as they are inquirers more than anything else.
They had learning out of this health camp as the students understood the importance of a regular check-up.
