FRENCH & SPANISH EXHIBITION

Mind Your Language!
The French and Spanish department staged a hilarious and wildly entertaining skit based on Mind Your Language, the very popular BBC Television show in the 1980’s. The play featured characters from various French and Spanish-speaking countries, including Ivory Coast, Spain, France, Mexico, and Canada. The play was hugely popular with the audience, and the entire group lauded to great acclaim. We thoroughly enjoyed putting up the show while exacting the practice and also in the actual execution.
Other aspects of the exhibition were Spanish Karaoke song based on the popular music ‘Para bailar la bamba’, Puppet show depicting the French culture through the character Guignol from Lyon and Spanish Flamenco dance which brought the colour of AndalucĂa (Spain) to the Spanish French exhibition.
A part from the show, there was also a display of charts based on heritage, culture and tradition of French and Spanish countries by the students.
The show was considered by many to be one of the highlights of the subject exhibitions. Excellent gathering of parents & audience motivated the students throughout the show.
