On 11.11.11 Grade 5 children had a Guest Lecture by Mr. Mallikarjun in connection with their ongoing UOI topic "Abiotic components". The Guest Lecture was well presented with a PPT. Students learnt about the Biotic and Aiotic Components and the relationship between the two. They also learnt about the effects of Deforestation and the effect it would have on Hydearbad if deforestation occurs in Maharashtra.
It was an eye-opener for all to know that Musi,the highly polluted and dead river of Hyderabad,was once a beautiful,flowing river. Today,it is dead because no measure was taken to protect it. The interactive session ended on a positive note as students came up with various ideas to reduce the pollution around them.
