Learning through Play

Learning is fun!!

At Oakridge, children learn in many ways to express their understanding. Play helps to express feelings and ideas and to come up with various understandings. PP1’s had an extended hands on learning on their POI topic ‘Learning through Play’ on January 25^th, 2012. All the five sections had been set up with various resources and multiple differentiated tasks on play, for example, water play & sand play, building blocks and puzzles, imaginary play , Role play, music and dance and a puppet show.

Children had lot of fun involving in these activities and learning the importance of learning through play. This activity was well integrated across various disciplines.
