Best out of Waste!
Ever thought of
using the old newspaper stuck at home? Hmm not really, they just lay there in a
corner and we don’t bother about it. But now we have an opportunity to use the
old waste at home to make something creative out of it. Paper Craft CCEP for
grade X, taught by Mr. Mahendar, gets our creative juices working. In the
previous CCEP classes we have learnt different things that we could make out of
newspapers which include making penguins, flowers and even a pen stand. The
procedure of making a cool pen-stand is easy. All you have to is make long
sticks out of newspaper, then pick one and turn it into a diamond. Attach one
stick at each corner, but make sure there are two sticks attached in one vertex.
Fold the sticks attached in line with the edges of the diamond, keep folding
and attach more when there is no more left to fold. Repeat the process till you
make a beautiful pen holder and keep in on your study table to flaunt your
creative ability! Any further queries can be discussed with Mahendar Sir, and
we could always recycle and reuse old newspapers to keep our society clean and
green – Shivangi Tiwari (X H, CIE)
