Project clean-up

What a delight, to look into the wide eyes of a child in the midst of expressing wonder, excitement  and the sheer appreciation that comes from experiencing the joy of caring for oneself and others! Empowering oneself individually and collectively helps these young ones experience valuable lessons along with a sense of accomplishment.  Community action service CAS holds this very thought at its core.
Our kids are growing up in a fast changing & challenging world. To meet these challenges, young people need to imbibe self-management skills to manage their lives responsibly. And this is what grade 2 aims for, through the CAS program that has been initiated with much ardor.
The initiation provided students with an opportunity to care& be responsible  for their immediate surroundings by tidying up and reorganizing their cubbies, tables &chair which saw them planning, organizing, executing as well as managing time, all in which, kicked in a huge sense of achievement. But most of all it was heartening to see such young people manifest compassion, respect and a spirit of oneness through their actions.
It’s just the beginning for establishing positive habits that can stay with our children for life.
