The class started with an introduction from the CT and
then by the students. To make the class interesting a motivational video was
shown and the students were asked to reflect on the same. All the students said
few lines. Later there was an introduction on Individuals and societies, what
all disciplines it incorporates and its importance. This was done with the aid
of a power point presentation. To make the class more lively and participative,
the students were asked to play a game in which each student paired up with others
and faced back to back. Once the teacher clapped, pairs turned face to face
with either open or closed fist. Those pairs which did similar we're in and
those who did different were out. To choose the winner, another game was added
to it. Those selected were given some time to notice changes in the partner
after a minute’s time and to point out the changes. The pair which pointed out
the maximum number of changes was declared the winner. With this the orientation
came to an end.
