Grade VI A’s maiden CAS trip to Vivekanada Vidyalaya
Students of 6A went on a CAS
trip to Vivekananda Vidyalaya. Over there we taught the students in Grades 1-5
different subjects like Math, English, Science, Art, etc. It was heartening to
see what they had written about our last year’s 7th graders
(they had repainted the school). We had lots of fun with them since they danced
and sang for us. In return we taught them and donated some books. My group
taught first graders and got to learn a lot of things from them. We also
observed that they were very particular about cleanliness. They always picked
up things and cleaned the mess lying around so that their school was spic and
span. We were delighted to see that they were having lots of fun while we were
teaching them. We taught the first graders Math –shapes and numbers, English
alphabets and colors. We also gave them worksheets and held competitions. This
was an amazing way of learning and and cooperating with others.
