To mark the last day of the Health Month, the students of Senior secondary presented an assembly with an important message about Substance Abuse.
Exposure to substances is an imminent reality at some point in every student’s life. Informed youth have a better chance to stand up to the dangerous effects of substance abuse; contrary to the ignorant and the innocent. With this objective in mind, the students put up a short awareness assembly and made posters to conscientise the students of the evils that lurk behind a simple experimentation with drugs and alcohol.
As the coordinator for the week of Health Camps, I am grateful to Ms Gayatri and Ms Ann for encouraging the students to put in a good effort and making the assembly an effective one. I would like to acknowledge the following students for their untiring efforts. Prachi Gupta, Gamana Y., Sr Priya, Arya Reddy, Anamol, Salil Choudary, Adnan, Bhagyashree, Rupa Mani and others.
