The “Green Guru Quiz” is a National Level quiz, being organized as a part of the Earth Care Initiative 2011, supported by the Times Group and JSW hosted by Oakridge International School-Newton Campus, Gachibowli.
The regional rounds of the quiz are being organized in New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad and Kolkata.
The Hyderabad Regional Round was held on 7thApril 2011 at Oakridge International School-Newton Campus, Gachibowli, Hyderabad. There was a preliminary entrance test round and 43 teams from 21 schools in the city had participated.
The teams qualified to the next round of quiz were from
P.Obul Reddy Public School,
Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Public School,
Oakridge International School-Newton Campus,
Chirec Public School,
Geetanjali Public School.
The final Hyderabad regional winners were from P.Obul Reddy Public School.
The finals for this National Level General Knowledge/Awareness Quiz will be conducted on 22nd April 2011 in New Delhi by the celebrity Mr.Rahul Bose.
