The ‘Investiture Ceremony’ at Oakridge was celebrated on the 11th of April 2011. It was a defining moment for the prefectorial team. The function commenced with a speech by the Principal Capt.Rohit Bajaj. He spoke at length on leadership qualities among children and also thanked the outgoing batch of prefects for the wonderful work they put in during their last year. The chief guest for the occasion was Col.Yogender Singh who spoke about life in the armed forces and the sacrifices that one is expected to put in. Also present at the ceremony were the parents of the Head Boy, Syed Azaan Ali. The Head Boy administered the Oath striving to work and stand by the principles of honesty and integrity in the discharge of duties. The Vice Principal pipped the badges of office to each elected member, investing them into office. It was an exciting moment for the newly elected prefects who vowed to work for the honor and the glory of the school. A memento was presented by the Principal to the Chief Guest on behalf of the school. The ceremony concluded with the presentation of the school flag and the House flags by the outgoing prefects to the newly elected members of the student community.
