A true Remuneration to the Teacher in the Words of a Happy Parent

In one of the units of inquiry our students were inquiring about human migration, being a response to challenges, risks and opportunities. They were expected to explore and understand the related concepts of human migration, like the reasons that cause people to migrate (causation), the change in people and in communities when they migrate (connection) and the ways in which migration effects people and places eventually bringing changes in the world.

Corresponding to the unit of inquiry, the parents and grandparents were invited to the class to share their real life experiences of migration, the related events and any unique detail that can guide the students in understanding every aspect of migration.

Post the session an appreciative grandparent took the time out to send us this letter. It is a testament to the time and hard work put in by our entire staff, teachers and principal that Oakridge International School continues to go from strength to strength.

Teachers are incredible human beings! At Oakridge teachers create opportunities for students to achieve competence, and develop into caring, secure, and actively literate adults. They approach teaching in a way that encourages students to become thoughtful, sensitive citizens who have something to contribute to the world around them.

Parent Reflection:

I had an opportunity to visit the class of my granddaughter today to give a guest lecture on the subject of migration.

I am thankful to you to give me this opportunity. I am really impressed by the total environment of the class. I am also impressed by the way you had conducted today's class and noticed that you had totally utilized each and every second in the best possible way. I am also impressed for the high standard level of the study and the method of teaching. I am also happy for your all students for raising very intelligent and meaningful queries during the guest lecture on subject matter.

Lastly, I am very happy that my granddaughter is studying in nicest school under esteemed guidance of finest teachers like you!!)
