An orientation session was held for Grade
VI parents to bring them up to date about the progress of the children. The
parents were visibly excited and eager to know more about what keeps their
children busy these days. They met the teacher mentors and had an interactive
session with them. As an activity, the parents formed into groups according to
the issue chosen by their children. It was heartening to know that all the
parents were aware of the hard work that there kids were putting in. the
teachers and parents came up with ways to help and support the children better.
The parents were as enthusiastic as the children and even came up with ways to
take some sustainable action. All in all, a well conducted and enlightening
session for both parents and teachers.
