Talk Show: An afternoon with 5F– Gurtej Bagga
On the talk show, “An
afternoon with 5F”, last Wednesday by three guests, parents of Annika, Rafaan
and me. They spoke about the governments of countries India, United States of
America and United Kingdom] from which I learnt a lot! Annika, a girl in my
class and I, both whose parent had come for the talk show, had the pride of
asking them the questions, in other words, being the anchors! During the talk
show, using Inquiry and Communication skills, I learnt how three different
types of government function and that's how India as a country is very intelligent,
but we use our intelligence in a bad way, instead we should use it to become a better
country! Some negative facts about
our country are that we have too many laws and following some laws leads to
breaking the first few laws that are made. Indians also think it is ok to break
some of the local laws. Our leaders have a very big ego and don’t want to listen
to others, even when they are trying to help.Simple steps to fix the same would be to make every person accountable
for their action. The law should be consistently applied and imparted, that
will make the citizens and the country better! The talk show was very good. It
left me with a more knowledgeable mind and forced me to think about the little
steps we can do to make our country better!
