For the UOI - Imagination; we in grade 3 planned an activity where we integrated imagination with drama and visual arts. The activity required the students to make a mask, and then in groups they had to imagine and write a story using the masks as the characters and present it in the form of a skit.

Each group had a unique story; Characters in the stories were super heroes,Cops, King, Queen, animals, etc. Quickly roles were decided and dialogues were written. Then it was time for lights, camera, and action-The final performance.

It was very wonderful to see the children work in groups coordinating and cooperating with each other and then presenting and appreciating each others work.

Yes! It proved beyond doubt that imagination is the most powerful tool to enhance one’s creativity and learning.
