My experience with my
child has been great before, during, and after SLC:
Before SLC: I could see my son constantly
thinking about SLC, practicing at home in terms of memorizing what and how to
present during SLC.
During SLC: Throughout the session, he followed the
essential agreements.
I was happy to see
various forms of learning displayed in the class:
- Family pictures behind the door.
- Thinking Board, Their Jobs.
- Vocabulary and Math (Wonderful representation of concepts in kite format) Sections.
- UOI — I was surprised to see his level of understanding, grasp, and implementation of his learning from UOI wherever applicable.
- Visual Arts — I was happy to see how well children are encouraged to showcase their artistic skills.
- World Map — Glad to see students talk confidently about atlas, world map, water resources, etc.
- School Vision and Learner Profile — Glad to know students’ awareness about these topics.
- ICT — Appreciate the introduction to concepts of computer and different software.
After SLC: My overall experience of SLC was great.
I felt my son did a very good job. I have seen tremendous improvement in
him. He is also very happy that he
completed everything much before the allotted time, confidently and clearly.
