One of the greatest achievements of the 21st century

 

• Anna hazare wrote to everyone regarding Jan Lokpal bill but no one listened to him.
• 5th April 2011 he started fast unto death to press the demand to form a joint committee of the representatives of the government and the civil society to draft a new bill with stronger penal actions and more independence to the Lokpal and lokayuktas.
• Government of India ignored him, but as the first day of his fast was over he got support from every corner of India.
• After 4 days of discussion the government realized that Anna’s demands were right and accepted them.
