In connection with our CAS (creativity, Action, Service) students from ST. PETER’S SCHOOL visited us. They were given a warm welcome by our students and teachers in the PYP room and thereafter were divided into eight sections with our grade 2 children. Our young confident learner’s shouldered responsibility while they took them around for a school tour and had a time of fun and play in the jungle gym.

The OIS grade 2 children had planned a very engaging half day for their friends from St. Peter’s. Children shared snacks, sang songs and performed skits. They had prepared some wonderful resources to teach them various concepts in math and language arts. These resources like board games and puppets were utilized very effectively and later donated to the visiting school.

It was interesting to see the IB profiles like caring, knowledgeable and communicators being put into practice.
