The issue selected by this group for inquiry is pollution. The students feel it is a burning issue, which if not controlled can cause a lot of havoc. The earth is already over burdened with the ever increasing population and add to it the fact that the humans seem to be bent upon wasting precious resources. The students are inquiring into the causes and effects of pollution and then think of innovative ways to combat the problem. As a part of this, they brought seeds and saplings to school and planted them in an empty piece of land in the school.
