On the morning of March 31st, at 7 a.m., around 25 Oakridge students assembled at the KBR national  Park to take part in the second Oakridge Green Run of the year. The Green Run is an initiative taken up by the Green Rangers and Sports Captains of Oakridge International to foster a sense of awareness in students about the rapidly escalating air pollution in Hyderabad. However, it is also an opportunity to endorse fitness within the school community, as every participant is expected to run a distance of 5-6 km. To further this cause for health awareness, our principal, Captain Rohit Bajaj, has proposed the formation of an Oakridge Runners' Club or a School Track Team. The club will be led by the Sports Captains Atul Lanka and Simran Jain and will organize a run every two weeks for its members. The dates for the inaugural run will be announed as soon as possible All students are encouraged to participate

We hope to see you there!
