Students’ Reflections: Session with Sub-Staff on World Read Aloud Day

We, the children of Grade 5, told the importance of World Read Aloud Day to our Housekeeping Staff who help us a lot. They gathered in the library to listen to us. My friend Anish told them the importance of reading; Rachana told them a moral story and; I told them a funny story.  It was fun telling them stories.  I gained Social Skill while interacting — I was confident and committed. Thanks to Veena Madam for giving this opportunity. Srihita, Grade 5B

I felt very happy telling stories to Sub-Staff of our school to motivate them to read. I felt really nice seeing them smile and laugh. I hope that they will spread the message of reading to everybody. We read funny stories and moral stories and asked questions related to them. Thanks to Veena Madam for giving us this great opportunity. Rachana, Grade 5A
