I am father of Nihal who is a Grade VI student at OIS.
Today the Grade VI students working on the PYP Exhibition topic –Water Scarcity visited L&T apartments, Gachibowli for a field trip based on their Line of Inquiry : Ways to conserve water . This line of inquiry highlights the PYP Concept Responsibility. Myself and the inquiring students got a guided tour of the STP and Rain water harvesting pit at L&T .I have to say ,the students were good communicators who showcased their questioning skills. I am sure the field trip has made them knowledgeable about STP and importance of Rain water harvesting.

Inquiring minds'... what a wonderful term. Our grade 6 students who are at the threshold of the senior school have started such a wonderful inquiry on the units for the PYP exhibition.
ReplyDeleteSHARING THE PLANET is the theme and the concept focus here is responsibility. Who better than our ‘future leaders’ to identify the problems that the earth is facing, the causes and of course the solutions. The students are working with passion and earnestness. Our young leaders initiative and drive is to make the world a better place to live
They are the ambassadors who Think globally and act locally
