The Journey of Blood: Activity reflection

 

For this activity, some of my friends volunteered to be different organs of the body like heart, lungs liver, gut etc… while some others played the role of the blood cells .First we, the blood cells took our places in the heart .Gradually we moved on ,delivering oxygen to different organs in the body and returned back to the heart. By then we were blue in colour as we were deoxygenated. We then went right into the lungs to get our fill of oxygen and returned to the heart. Now we were bright red in colour and ready for another journey. Through this activity I got to know how blood flows to different parts of the body exchanging gases and giving nutrients and I was great example of activity based learning .
