On August
27 the 10th grade classes had their first IBDP (IB) orientation.
Coming into the orientation we all were feeling a wide range of emotions, but
one stood out above all, fear. We’ve
all heard the rumors about how difficult IB was and many of us were shivering
at the thought of it. However, now I think we’re all excited. We learnt about
the methodology behind IB as well as the structure. The knowledge we absorbed
gave us courage. What originally felt like a mountain, now feels more like a
river. Though the current may be stronger if we keep pushing we’ll eventually
make it to the other side. We’re excited for the challenges ahead and we’re
ready to take on anything and everything that the IBDP program has to offer.
