Happy 2014, everyone! As we gear up for another year and wait to see
what surprises await us, we thought it'd be a prime time to step back and
think about what we can do to improve our own experiences — and the experiences
of those around us. So let’s hear from our first graders.
Once again, on behalf of all the first graders, Wish You All a Very
Happy New Year!!
A word that most of the first graders haven’t heard of or didn’t know
what it meant.
As the teachers explained and made sure that the students understood
what it meant, the little minds had already started thinking. To their
teacher’s surprise, they had already started their discussion with their peers
and were engrossed in putting it down on paper.
“My resolution for the year 2014 is that I want to be a good
communicator.”
“My resolution for the year 2014 is that I want to be a good thinker
because thinkers bring in good ideas.”
“I want to be a good reader because by reading we gain knowledge” said
the students.
Being a teacher, it really feels proud when you see your children making
such wonderful resolutions.
