Our school observed “Anti-bullying Day” on 20th of February. Ms. Pooja,
the student counsellor, conducted a session on awareness of bullying. She
started off by provoking the students, asking them questions on the meaning of
bullying. The main aim for conducting this session was to stop certain unwanted
behaviour which may lead to untoward incidents.
The students understood the consequences of bullying and were also
told how to handle a situation when one feels uncomfortable. Bullying according
to the kids meant to tease, physically/verbally hurt each other, etc.
The students were given a mask cut-out and asked to transform the
plain mask into a bully mask. The kids gave their best using their creative
minds as they anticipated a surprise gift for the “best bully mask.” The mask
symbolised the feeling, the insult, and the trauma, a bully goes through. Anti-bullying
day ended with a positive note by making every student understand what it means
to have a right attitude and a friendly mind-set.
Students engrossed in the session conducted by Ms. Pooja:
Bullying is an H thing, the annus-horribilis, hateful, harmful, and hurtful, yet sooner or later it is conquered and becomes humorous. Source: overcoming power. Victims of bullying spare themselves distress, by detachment; denying their ability to experience happiness.Bullies enjoy dark happiness; these are the blank parts that eventually fill their minds with nothingness .Keep safe bring protection with you check this out at http://bit.ly/1nctEuL.
