Grade 3 Activity Showcase was held from February 7 to 9, 2014. Each and every student participated and
performed in Drama. They enacted many stories in different languages. They
performed hilarious plays called “Tikki Tikki Tembon No Sarimbo Hari Kari
Bushkie Peri Pem Bo,” “Andher Nagari,” and “Teen Bhikhari”. The suspense
thriller “Midnight Burial” entertained the audience.
The students enthralled the audience with the “True Story of Three Little
Pigs” which carried a different perception. The versatility of the stories along with the
confidence of our budding actors amazed the parents. The audience was spellbound
at the professional approach these young actors showed throughout. According to
many parents, “They have seen 100% confidence in Drama performances”.
Making creative choices, thinking new ideas, and interpreting familiar
material in new ways are essential to Drama and that’s what our students learnt
and showcased in their performances. Quoting Einstein, “Imagination is more important than knowledge” — Our students
reflected it in totality.
