Student’s Reflection: It’s a Machine after all!

Did you know we depend on so many things but we never get time to think about them? One thing that we use a lot every day is a machine. For example, vehicles: Vehicles do have machines but we do not realize or give credit to the people who have at least thought about creating such a thing. But once we know the process, we will be amazed by how these things have evolved. It is also something we are dealing with in our current Unit of Inquiry.

We can also learn from machines: For example, the computer which was created by Charles Babbage. Did we even think about how a man can make such a thing in the 18th century which had and is still having a huge impact? It is quite fascinating! Could there be a day without machines? I would think that is impossible and not fun. This would also give us an understanding on how it was in the olden days. The final look of a machine looks simple but to make something like that is so complicated. It is a machine after all that makes things go the way we want them to.
