Taste of my Future — Internship at Microsoft

I started my day in the Microsoft Internship by getting into my mentor's (Tanuj Vohra) room. And then he showed me all the facilities. Once that was done, I got to work. I had to write an introduction so that the people in the meeting room understood who I was. With my mentor’s assistant, I went to get my visitor’s sticker. Then, I went to the visitors’ center where I played on the Kinect.

All the people who work in Microsoft are so kind, nice, funny and caring; they are always ready to help you. After the meeting, I went to Saakshi who gave me an assignment to help Microsoft by giving ideas for the "Bring Your Child to Work" Day. After lunch, I directly went back to working on my assignment while my mentor went for another meeting. My mentor and his team helped me to put my work into an effective PPT Presentation.

It was so fun, interesting, and memorable! I am so glad we got this amazing assignment from Oakridge — an awesome school!
