Students’ Reflections on Guest Lecture: “Why Lifestyle Matters”

On March 5, we had a Guest Lecture on “Why Lifestyle Matters” by Dr. Kareem Khan — a young and passionate doctor who gave us an enlightening talk about our lifestyle. He started with a poem and proceeded to question us about our lifestyle. He educated us about the significance of a balanced diet and physical education. We also had a small debate on the pros and cons of technology. He advised us on dealing with bullying and addictions.

The interesting talk by the speaker Dr. Kareem Khan made us all promise to follow three things:

To start eating healthy and sleep well.
To indulge in any sport.
To stay away from excess usage of technology.

Striking a balance between academics, sports and other activities is very essential for a balanced, overall development of a student. We hope to implement these as we know lifestyle does matter.

It was a fun and interactive session — we learnt about lifestyles and diseases.
