Lift off to Literacy- An initiative by International Reading Association

Today 5K conducted the morning assembly. We spoke about a new program initiated by our teachers in our school. The program is originally by International Reading Association and NASA. It is called “Lift off to Literacy”. As a part of this our teachers have pledged to do 60 second activities for the next 60 days starting from 8^th September.
We are doing some interesting activities like writing a 60 day story where we are adding one line every day. We will continue for 60 days and make some wonderful stories!
Another interesting activity is named “NASA Image of the day”. In this our ma’am is showing one image per day and we are describing what we see as a class.
It was fun to conduct the assembly and spread awareness about the fun activities we are doing in school.
