Yes, I CAN!!

As an educator it is my first responsibility to empower my students. As we are educating our students to become the future leaders, whatever little steps we take now, whatever support we give them to become confident, dedicated students will certainly bear fruit and help our students in the long run

As the famous quote by Lao-Tzu goes

A journey of a thousand miles must begin with a single step.

For the first time my grade 4 students will be writing a ‘trial’ .At the onset of these trials, it is not uncommon that many students go through the stress and tension of exams. More than often, parents also end up becoming a victim to the brunt of the examination heat. There is a lot of comparison, expectations from the child that adds up the stress .Unfortunately, most children give in to the pressure, and thereby end up getting disappointed. So, how does one ensure that they do not let the exam fear get the better of them? To help our Oakridgers, to empower them, we conducted a workshop giving them simple tips to be well prepared for assessments, trials, which will help organize themselves better and also will help them attempt their trials with a new developed confidence

Today’s children are extremely smart and intelligent, all that is required from us is to trust their ability and guide them to take that first step in the right direction.
