Our class is going to perform a drama
on ‘Girl Rights’ on the Performing Arts Day. We have chosen this topic because girls are
facing a lot of problems in the society. We want people to watch our play and
understand the pain girls are facing today.
We have been divided into four groups;
each group is given a part to play in the drama. I’m playing a grand father’s
role wherein I’m ill-treating the girl who is my granddaughter. We are
practicing a lot for this drama. We are happy that we have been given an
opportunity to take part in Performing Arts wherein we get to learn many
things.
We are also hoping that this drama
will make people realize the importance of a girl child.
