Student’s Reflection: Junior School Students Strike the Chords of Carnatic Music!!

The students of Junior School put up a fantastic show in the morning assembly to pay a tribute to the legendary Carnatic music composer Tyagaraja. They started the show with a melodious violin piece for the prayer. Music also makes you feel like you are praying to God! After that, there was an inspiring thought quoted by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.

Finally, the main presentation started. The students sang the song “Sarasa Netra Para Guna” and also accompanied it with Tablas, Violins, Keyboards, and an elegant Kuchipudi dance. They also requested the audience to sing along with them. The motive behind this was that every single voice counts — Sahasra Gala Aradhana. I feel that this awesome showcase was one of the best assemblies of this academic year!!
