Physical education in at Oakridge is more than just student participation in sports and games. An understanding of the factors that contribute to developing and maintaining a balanced healthy lifestyle , the importance of regular physical activity, the body’s response to exercise, the importance of developing basic motor skills, understanding
and developing the body’s potential for movement is very important.
Thus Physical fitness is a result of the balance of activities that are provided in the physical education program at school and continued by the family and in other community activities.
This week [6 August to 19 August ],students of Grades four to six were engaged in various physical activities as a part of their Fitness Test.
