14th August 2012 had a special assembly conducted by teachers of Grades V and VI for children commemorating the 65th Independence day celebration. The teachers sang the Patriotic song “Bharat humko jaan se pyaara hai” and danced to a medley of patriotic songs giving a flavor of Independence and patriotism to everyone.
The assembly was taken further by a pledge and ended with National Anthem.It was a splendid assembly as the children were in full spirit to celebrate their country’s Independence. Looked like all of the nature stood still and was part of the assembly celebrations.
