“Expressing through Dance”

Na TathGnaanam, Na TathShilpam, Na SaaVidyaa, Na SaaKalaa, Na Sow Yogo, Na Tath Karma, NatyesminYannadrushyathe.

There is no wisdom or knowledge, no art, no craft, no device or action that is not found in Natya.
Dance is the most immediate and accessible of the arts because it involves your own body. It allows us to express, communicate and understand ideas and feelings in an engaging manner , So while going through our journey into “expressing in different ways and for different purposes” how could we miss dance .We were lucky enough to have such a nice parent from grade II A who was willing to share her talent with our kids. She was so amazing that her physical body, senses, feelings, emotions and mind seemed to be interwoven. This complex inter-relationship made her dance a truly unique experience. Students understood that this form of expression develops kinaesthetic intelligence which is echoed in other aspects of their lives. Her enthralling expressions while performing “Krishna leela” and “Ram SeetaSwyamvar” made us all appreciate that dance is a magnificent way to express, communicate and understand ideas, feelings and emotions that could not be said or understood in other ways.
