An Exciting Inter-School Business Quiz

As part of the International School Awards (ISA) accreditation, an Inter-School Quiz was organized. The students enjoyed it very well. The Quiz comprised of four rounds: Leader, Visual, Extempore, and Jeopardy.  The participating school teachers were the members of the jury for the Extempore round.

Reflections by few of the participating students & teachers:

Today’s business quiz with competing schools was very interesting to watch. I didn’t know much about business at the starting of the quiz, but by the end of the quiz, I had learnt a lot about famous business leaders, who they are and what they did. The most exciting part was the Jeopardy round in which even the audience participated.
Anvita Yellamachali (Audience), Oakridge, Newton Campus, Grade IX, CIE

We really enjoyed the Jeopardy and the Visual rounds. The first round, i.e., the Leader round was slightly difficult. We learnt about the successful businessmen and their achievements.
Samhitha, Keerthi & Utkarsh (Team D), Sancta Maria International, Grade VIII, CIE

We enjoyed the Jeopardy round in the Quiz. I acquired knowledge on different businessmen and also the cost of an Apple 1. I would like to participate in more competitions at Oakridge.

The quiz competition proved a very good exposure for the students. A very nice initiative for learning and keeping oneself at par with current affairs. The Quiz covered good information. The visuals shown were excellent.
Mrs. Ritu Agnihotri (Teacher), Kennedy High – The Global School

This activity gave our students an opportunity to know the business leaders of India and their contributions to the field of business and society. Good exposure to faculty members as well.
