Culture in Different Zones of India

In relation to our current POI topic “Culture,” we had a group activity. Our POI teacher gave each of us an Indian state to research about. I got Jharkhand. All the students who got a state located in the east were in the East group, students who got a western state in the West group and the same followed for North and South. We could make a booklet, chart etc. This activity was to help us learn about the Indian states in a fun and engaging way. Our group made a huge chart with booklets on it. It came out really creative. All the groups did an outstanding job and it was easy for us to learn all the 28 states. We were given a format to research about the appropriate information. This activity was helpful and was successful.
