Oakridgers in Inline Speed Skating

Many students from Grades 3, 4, 5, and 6 have won many medals and championships in inline speed skating. Most of the students are showing interest to learn and upgrade themselves in inline speed skating which is offered in the school PE curriculum.

Inline skating is a sport practiced widely internationally. Inline skating typically has 3 to 4 Polyurethane wheels arranged in a single line. The inline design allows for a greater speed than roller skates and better maneuverability. In addition to Speed, Fitness, Artistic or Recreational skating, some skaters prefer to skate aggressively.

Aggressive skating is preferred by participants as Rollerblading, Blanding, Skating or Rolling and includes a variety of grinds, airs, slides, toe/heel rolls and other advanced skating maneuvers.
