From The Kutumbam

attentive children, some visibly moved. Mohini Moghe Explaining about poor orphans Visibly moved students of Grade 3

Dear Ms. Sheher Banoo,

I and Mohini Moghe were invited by Ms. Vaishali Nadkarni to your esteemed OIS to tell the students of Grade 3 about who an orphan is and about the Orphanage that we are running (- called Kutumbam).

It was indeed a privilege to have been able to interact with the very receptive and disciplined gathering of children and their teaching staff.

After our presentation, the children asked numerous questions indicating that they have got sensitized to the problems of poor orphans and need for good orphanages.

What moved us the most was the kind of support that almost each child extended by way of donating books, games, CDs etc. Needless to say that these will be extremely useful to the children of Kutumbam.

We appreciate your effort to inculcate social skills – particularly ‘empathy’, amongst the students. This will surely make them better citizens of the Country.

Our thanks are due to the teaching and coordinating staff of Grade 3 who made the event a very successful one and memorable one for me and Mrs. Moghe.

You may kindly convey our sincere thanks to Ms. Hema Sanjay for exposing the students to the need for orphanages and her compassion and vision for the under privileged.

A few photos taken on the occasion are attached and speak volumes of the understanding of social issues by your students. Also one photo of happy Kutumbam boys.

With regards and best wishes,

Col Arun & Mohini Moghe

Kutumbam boys are very happy on receiving the Gifts
