Cultivating Creative Minds in Oakridge

PAT - these three letters form quite a small word but what they mean is something BIG. This program identifies academic talent in students and encourages us to stretch our minds and imagination further. Many activities such as tricky logical problems, mysteries, finding hidden words in passages, creative writing and much more is the essence of PAT. The quintessence of PAT is to think beyond.

Oakridge is proud to have PAT and PAT is proud to be a part of Oakridge. All in all PAT is
14   36 10   2   20   !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Try solving this!!

Ans   : Divide the numbers by 2 and assign the letters of the alphabet to that number.
14/2 = 7 letter in the alphabet    i.e. G

PAT is a resource filled with ideas and opportunities, children learn best when they are able to relate new information to previous experiences and to ideas that are familiar. A desirable educational experience is one that challenges the child intellectually and also permits the child to have happy experiences. PAT makes the students think critically instead of simply looking up answers. PAT evokes essential questions. It stimulates deep thought and requires a longer, more involved response from the child. It also encourages critical thinking and not just memorization of facts.
