The celebration of “Performing Arts Week” started on 7 August on a musical note with the Music department conducting the morning assembly and dedicating it to Dr. Sripada Pinakapani ,who completed his 100 birthday 2 days ago, who is a medical doctor and also a famous composer and singer from Kurnool District . He has composed 2000 notations and is lovingly called as the singing doctor.
During short break , the teachers from Music department had some surprises for students in the central court.
Students of grade 6 gathered with their snack boxes, they ate and simultaneously enjoyed a varied performance by their teachers.
Few students also volunteered and sang songs , thus rending a musical harmony to the whole day.
