Grade 3 G has a special friend in their class .It is Stuffed toy Tigger. Tigger has a special place in the class, from where it observes the students. On last day of the week it goes home with a student who has displayed good behavior, has reflected on the Learner Profiles or has read maximum number of books. The student brings back Tigger along with a write up of the fun he/she had with TIGGER.
This is a small motivation strategy that I have been using in my classes for past 4 years .It aims at developing The Profiles, Attitudes and Skills in children. At the end of the year, Tigger’s friend Winnie the pooh visits the class for a class party. This year Tigger has already visited many homes. Following are the glimpses of Tiggers adventures.
