Empathy is a human
value which is unique to humans only and it is against the selfish instinct.
Imagine for a while that you don’t have proper house; on top of that, you can’t
afford to buy winter clothes and you have to face this winter!! Which word
comes in your mind: ‘‘shivering”? In fact, this is just imagination for all of
us. But on the other side, it is the reality faced by some of the unfortunates
of our city in every winter. They face this “shivering experience” during this
time of the year.
Finally, propagated by their human empathy, the students of
the Oakridge International School decided to convert these “shivering
experiences” into warm and secure feelings by donating blankets and warm
clothes to the needy people. Under the leadership of Grade VI CAS in charge, the
team of students reached JMJ Sneha Sadan, Miyapur for this noble cause.
The whole world is
busy in celebrating the New Year a “Cash way” whereas the students of the
Oakridge International School are doing it by “CAS way”! Wish you a Warm New Year!!
